How DOXAZO crews opt in to text alerts

DOXAZO Field Alerts is the operational text-message program of DOXAZO LLC. This page shows who receives these texts and exactly how they agree to receive them.

Who receives texts

Only people who work with DOXAZO: DOXAZO employees, field crews and subcontractor crew members. Most of them are set up by a DOXAZO administrator in the DOXAZO Field Operations app, our internal back-office app, either as a user profile or as the contact for a record the texts are about (such as the truck they drive, or the daily field report reminder list for crew leads); crew members who file daily field reports can also opt themselves in on the app’s report form, as described below. Texts are operational only, such as truck check reminders, daily field report reminders, safety alerts and job-related notices. We do not send marketing or promotional messages.

How they opt in

Texting is off until a person opts in, in one of three ways:

• In the app.On their own profile page in the DOXAZO Field Operations app, the person enters their mobile number and ticks the checkbox “Text me DOXAZO Field Alerts”. The consent text below sits right under the checkbox. The box is never pre-ticked, and unticking it turns texts off.
• On the onboarding form.When a person agrees to the same consent text on their onboarding form, a DOXAZO administrator records that consent in the app, on the person’s profile or on their contact record (their truck, or their entry on the daily field report reminder list), by ticking “Recorded consent: this person agreed to receive DOXAZO Field Alerts texts”.
• On the daily field report form.A crew member filing a daily field report on the app’s report form can enter their mobile number and tick the checkbox “Text me at this number if this report needs changes” (unticked on every report; their phone only remembers the number so they don’t have to retype it), with the same consent text right under it, and we text that number only if a report they filed is sent back for changes.

Each consent is saved with the date, how it was given, who recorded it, the version of the consent text, and the mobile number it covers. Consent applies only to that number: if the number changes, texts stop until the person opts in again. Every change is written to the app’s audit log.

Opting out and getting help

Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help. Every text ends with “Reply STOP to opt out.” People can also untick the box on their profile in the app, or ask a DOXAZO administrator to turn their texts off. A STOP reply is recorded with the person’s consent, and we send them no further texts. For help, reply HELP or email admin@doxazollc.com.

Consent is not required to work with DOXAZO. The same alerts are also available in the app.

The public website does not collect numbers for texting

Our public website (doxazollc.com) has no text-message sign-up and does not collect phone numbers for texting. A phone number entered on its quote request form is used only to reply to that request and is never added to DOXAZO Field Alerts.
